![]() ![]() You can check that setting using the Edit->Show Spelling and Grammar menu item in TeXShop it should then be set to English (Aspell). I use it for all my work and choose English (Aspell) as the default dictionary in the Text tab of the Keyboard Pane in System Preferences. Then, choose the English dictionary in TeXShop's Source tab in TeXShop->Preferences if you want to only use it in TeXShop. I'm not sure if the dictionary makes a difference but I use the English (alone-I think it loads several individual versions) dictionary. So far I’ve not experimented with Excalibur. Yes, I’m aware that they are quite different, but I decided to try CocoAspell for a while and see how that works out. Those are two completely separate spellcheckers. > The only thing I don't understand about your original message is that you talk about Excalibur but you say you just installed CocoAspell. Can those changes be made when TeXShop has already opened Example.tex or does one have to quite TeXShop before applying Excalibur?
